Good products don't just happen. Especially not when you're looking for a brand that truly fits who you are.
When we at Saré noticed the growing demand for natural skincare, the need for a second brand alongside Guinot emerged. Guests were asking for natural products and treatments with a conscious approach, for example. We wanted to respond to that, but with a brand that aligns with our vision on quality and care.
At the same time, Naomi was searching for a natural skincare brand for her graduation research. Together with Lisa, originally a beauty specialist and now business manager, she dove into different brands. They visited companies, tested products, and kept asking themselves the same question: does this fit Saré? Our guests? How we view care?
Eventually, they settled on Evolve Organic Beauty.
Evolve was founded in 2009 by Laura Rudoe from a conviction that immediately resonated: that care can be both effective and responsible. Not one at the expense of the other.
Since then, as an independent entrepreneur, she has been building a skincare brand where quality, natural ingredients, and attention to people and the environment come together. The products are made in-house and in small batches, using natural and organically certified ingredients.
During her research, Naomi discovered that the term 'natural' in skincare doesn't always mean as much as you might think.
"Many brands claim to offer natural products, while only a small part of their ingredients are actually natural. With Evolve, I discovered they're very conscious about this and show where their ingredients come from."
The combination of natural ingredients, the effectiveness of the products, and the conscious way of working appealed to her. For Naomi, it became increasingly clear during her research that the product itself isn't the only thing that matters.
"The appearance, ingredients, effectiveness, and the story behind a brand are all important in determining whether it truly fits a company."
Lisa also experienced the products herself. One of the first products she tested was the Cleansing Melt.
"I tried the Cleansing Melt first. It felt immediately soft and rich on my skin. That made me enthusiastic right away. That first feeling tells me a lot, because this is also what our guests experience when they receive a treatment with us."
But a good product alone wasn't enough. During the search, we looked at quality, effectiveness, and value for money. The brand had to meet several conditions before it would have a place within Saré.
The contact with Evolve's representative also confirmed the feeling. Lisa noticed how much love and conviction is behind the brand and at the same time saw that Evolve met the expectations we had set beforehand.
Everything came together: the brand, the products, and the vision behind them.
