Self-employed Chef

At Saré you don't work in a classic restaurant. Our guests come for a relaxing day and good food is naturally part of that experience for us. Prepared with care, suited to the moment and to what our guests need. You'll see that attention reflected in our kitchen. In addition to our seasonal menu, we work a lot with smaller dishes, tapas & bites and various culinary arrangements. We continue to develop our menu and constantly look at how we can better align our food service with the overall experience of our guests. We're looking for an experienced chef who would like to contribute to that.

As a self-employed chef you work together with our head chef and colleagues on daily preparation and service. You ensure that dishes leave the kitchen well-prepared and organized, and you maintain overview even during busier moments. • Preparing and cooking dishes • Monitoring quality, freshness and presentation • Contributing ideas for new dishes, specials and our seasonal menu • Keeping the kitchen neat and organized • Collaborating on smooth and efficient service

You have experience as a self-employed chef or chef de partie and know what it's like to work in a professional kitchen. You can work independently, but also enjoy working together. You value structure, see what needs to be done and take responsibility for your work. Additionally, you care about what you create and enjoy thinking along about how we can further develop our kitchen.

Working at Saré means working in a different dynamic than at many classic restaurants. No split shifts and no working late into the night. You work according to clear shifts between 10:00 and 22:00 and in the standard schedule one day per weekend. We are a Twente family business with short lines of communication. We love getting things done, give you the space to work independently and are open to good ideas.
